BTR-80A
The BTR-80A is a wheeled amphibious combat vehicle designed as an infantry troops carrier fit for fire support on the battlefield and for its infantry squad to fire from inside the vehicle. The BTR-80A is a BTR-80 derivative retaining its basic units and components. The vehicle features an enhanced firepower weapons suite comprising 30-mm automatic cannon, a 7.62-mm coaxial machinegun, a day/night sight and a smoke grenade discharger system.
BTR-80
The BTR-80 is a wheeled amphibious combat vehicle designed to carry infantry and marines to the battlefield, support them with fire and enable them to fire from inside the vehicle. The armoured personnel carrier mounts a turreted 14.5-mm KPVT machinegun and a coaxial 7.62-mm PKT machinegun, with their laying angles ranging from -4 deg. to +60 deg. in elevation and 360 deg. in azimuth. The vehicle is fitted with a smoke grenade discharger system, communications gear, a WMD protection system, fire-suppressant equipment, bilge pumps and a habitability system.
BREM-K
The BREM-K is a wheeled amphibious vehicle designed for technical support of the units equipped with wheeled BTR-80 armoured personnel carriers (APC). The vehicle ensures repair with the use of hoisting equipment and electric welding, recovery of vehicles out of light and medium sticking, towing of the disabled vehicles on land and afloat, round-the-clock technical monitoring and technical aid to the crew in elimination of faults and damage.
TIGR
The vehicle is designed for counterterrorist operations and is in service with special outfits of the Russian Defence Ministry and Ministry of Interior. It has good manufacturability in full-rate production, simple enough design of units and components, high operating reliability in the adverse desert environment with ambient temperature of up to +50°C, ability to negotiate most difficult sand dunes with ingress/egress slopes of 52° and cross wet gaps up to 1.2 m deep. Its interior comfortability is on a par with that of a medium motor car.
