1. Purpose and scope of application

1.1. The screening protection post (SPP) is intended for equipping checkpoints of units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, and other law enforcement agencies, as well as for permanent installation at especially important and strategic facilities.

1.2. The screening protection post provides: an all-round view of the approaches to protected objects in the daytime and at night, protection of guards from being hit by small arms and grenade fragments, an alarm signal in the event of an attack on an object, while allowing a reciprocal all-round defensive battle.

1.3. The screening protection post electrical equipment at the Customer’s request.

2. Specifications

2.1. The screening protection post represents a metal structure in the form of a hexagonal prism. In one of the walls of the screening protection post there is a door with a viewing window. 

There is a viewing block with a loophole for firing in the central upper part of each side.

The design of the loopholes provides a horizontal firing angle of 60 °-90 ° in a vertical plane of 10 °-70 °.

A hatch for emergency evacuation is provided in the floor.

The roof of the screening protection post can be made according to the customer's request in three options:

“Dead-end” roof

With a turntable from a Special Purpose Vehicle (ASN) 233115 Tiger-M SpN for circular shooting from firearms.

2.2. The metal structure of the screening protection post consists of a spatial frame made of rectangular pipes and spaced outer and inner armor plates made of steel grade C-85 with a thickness depending on the protection class of the product. The outer sheets are installed using electric arc welding, the inner sheets are removable.

2.3. In terms of ballistic protection, the screening protection post is made in two options:

2.3.1. Corresponds to the 5th-class ballistic protection according to GOST R51112-97.

2.3.2. Corresponds to the 6th-class ballistic protection according to GOST R51112-97.

2.4. Overall dimensions of the screening protection post assembly, mm (L x W x H) – 2,057 x 1,792 x 2,000.

2.5. Weight no more than 2,200 kg.
